 :: Hosting Requirements


When your company purchases versaSRS HelpDesk, VersaDev provides an ASP.Net application and a SQL Server 2000 / 2005 database structure. Your company is responsible for providing the hosting server(s). Minimum hosting requirements are listed below:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 / 2000, Microsoft Windows Vista* / XP*
  • Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 6.0 / 7.0
  • Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 (free download from Microsoft)
  • SQL Server 2005 / 2000, SQL 2005 Express or the Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE) 2000
  • ASP.NET
* Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows XP is only suitable for evaluation purposes and single user instances. More than one user environments will require MS Windows Server 2000 or 2003.
