versaSRS - Licensing

 :: VersaDev Software Licensing Guidelines 


Software Licensing is based on a defined 'Named Operator' model.

Unlike other products in the market; VersaDev do not charge additional fees for a Server Application License. You only pay for the number of additional Operator Licenses you need - don't forget, you always keep your Free License!

Operators (Individuals specifically identified through the Application) are granted permission to use the application - typically these people are the likes of HelpDesk Technicians, IT Technicians, Service Technicians, Sales Consultants, or anyone who needs to use the application as part of their day-to-day job activities.

Your End Users, Customers, or Requestors do not require a license. There is no limit to the number of requests that can be logged in the system.

Think of this licensing model like Microsoft Outlook - you need a license to use the application, but anyone can send you an email, and they don't need a License to do so.


A valid installation is defined as; one database instance of the Application Database and one installation of the Application on a single server.
